The Jewel of Mind: Undivided Awareness in Divisive Times, with Jogen Salzberg

On Thursday, August 27th, join Jogen Salzberg for a webinar on, “The Jewel of Mind: Undivided Awareness in Divisive Times.”

In this moment it is vital that we take a stand, embody our hearts and give voice to our deep concern for the welfare of our world and it’s living beings. And yet, if we adhere exclusively to any philosophy, conviction or belief system, our intelligence and love become limited. Unless we are able to have a more embracing vision than  ‘The Right Ones vs. The Wrong Ones,’ Beloved Community will remain a distant dream.

There are infinite perspectives on the world and its challenges because there are infinite beings. Tapping our multi-perspectival capacity , we can view issues we are passionate about from different perspectives than we choose to take a stand in. This allows us to empathize, connect and communicate with hearts and minds of many identity intersections , serving all of us in accessing more Truth, Beauty and Goodness.

Jogen will facilitate an exercise where we rest in open, embracing presence and practice shifting into and giving voice to different points of view on the same subject. For example, we might move from expression of The Traditionalist and then into The Radical and see that we contain these views but are larger and freer than any view. This gives us direct experience of our potential to embody multi-perspectival awareness, source of intelligence and love.

These webinars are offered by donation. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
